By Naomi Bremner, Apr 3 2014 10:55PM
The first OrkneyHour is all about Orkney of course! On Tuesday 8th April, 9-10pm GMT, you can join in the discussion about Orkney on Twitter. All you need to do is answer the questions using A1, A2 etc. in the answers and remember to include the tag #OrkneyHour in your Tweet. It will be great to have everyone share photographs during the hour, just use the tag #OrkneyHour.
9pm: Q1 Introduce yourself (e.g. name/org, what you do, area and 1st half of your postcode, remember to add '#OrkneyHour') or just let us know you're there!
9:05: Q2 What is unique and great about Orkney? #OrkneyHour
9:20: Q3 Easter: where to go, what to eat, what to do?
9:35: Q4 What’s your favourite tale about Orkney in 140 characters or less? #OrkneyHour
9:50: Q5 How many isles in the Orkney archipelago again, which is your favourite and why?

What is #OrkneyHour?
#OrkneyHour is a chat on Twitter. Covering subjects like ‘where to stay’, ‘where to eat’, ‘what to do in Orkney’ etc. It’s a chance for Orcadians and visitors to chat and plan a visit to Orkney or places, shops and facilities in Orkney. And also an opportunity for local individuals and businesses to connect with each other and network.
How do I get involved in #OrkneyHour?
Tag your tweets with the hashtag #Orkneyhour. After the chat, search out those who’ve participated, and follow them on Twitter, continue the conversation, support their efforts by RTs and #FFs – and make the connection in other ways.
If you would be willing to co-host; basically posting the questions at the allotted times and doing so RTing, then Tweet @OrkneyBuffalo.
